Freddy's Ice Cream Park
A combination of ice cream parlor and outdoor play area in Quinta da Marinha. Kids can run around the play space while parents enjoy coffee and pastries. The ice cream selection is great and there are plenty of toppings to choose from. Perfect for an afternoon treat after the beach. Outdoor seating with lots of space for kids to move around.
Santini
The most famous ice cream in the Cascais-Lisbon region, and it lives up to the reputation. Family-run since 1949. The original shop is in São João do Estoril but the Cascais central location has the same product. Strawberry is the classic choice. Expect a queue in summer — it moves fast. Real fruit flavours, proper gelato texture, and kids ask for it by name.
Häagen-Dazs (Paredão)
Not local, not artisanal, doesn't pretend to be. But it's exactly there when you need it — right on the paredão between Cascais and Estoril, perfectly positioned as a reward after the playground or the halfway bribe on a promenade walk. Outdoor seating with sea views. Kids know it, kids want it, and sometimes that's the only metric that matters.
